Open academic blog

We open our blog to explore, to share and to shape the big issues of “Transformation” and “Sustainable Development”.

  • Academics, experts, stakeholders as well as activists, artists and alumini are invited to publish their ideas, research results, reports and questions in our blog.

The main objective is to establish a public discourse on a high level across the academic disciplines and to start an open a dialogue with all the people interested in and involved in the big social transformation. The social, political and cultural challenges of our time and of our future need transparency, participation and collaboration. Social media foster this development by offering horizontal and easily accessible  communications. All media – text, image, video and audio – can be used for rich and immersive communications with a high impact on getting people informed and involved.

Blogging allows participation by following, subscription, comments and posting your own article.

  • Writing and publishing require a profound research, verified resources and will be peer reviewed by the editorial board.
  • All articles will be licensed by creative commons, Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike, CC BY-NC-SA (This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work non-commercially, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms.)
  • Connected to twitter and the social networks google+ and facebook, the blog posts will be disseminated to a wider community.

The call for articles is open: We are looking for science based articles about the big social and cultural transformation due to climate change and energy transition. Please send your proposals (no more than about 4.000 signs) to: jborner@kmgne.de
