The Climate Culture Communications Lab (ccclab) is a communications school and an international network for “literacy” in the Great Transformation.
One of the challenges of the Great Transformation in society and culture is to develop new metaphors, images and symbols for narratives about climate cultures and sustainable ways of production and living. With the International Summer Universities, the ccclab offers online-supported further education as well as workshops and ateliers lasting several days in the field of audiovisual communication and transmedia storytelling several times a year.
As an international network of experts from science, art, culture and intervention, the CCCLab researches, develops and tests theoretical approaches as well as practical tools for communicating transformation in real experiments. It mediates between disciplines and types of knowledge as well as between South and North. Supported by an international consortium of universities, scientific and artistic institutions, the ccclab generates globally relevant knowledge and opens up social dialogue for comprehensible, transparent and participatory communication.
